FAQ

  • When will my order be sent?
    Your order will be sent on a Tuesday & Friday! Please allow time for your order to arrive and be sent, as our products are all hand pooured by ourselves it can take a couple days to make your order ready for dispatch to it's new home!
  • Can I get a refund?
    At Made in Wax Melts, our customer happiness and satisfaction is top priority to us! We offer a refund within a maximum of 30 days from receiving your products. To pursue a refund, please contact us at Madeinwaxmelts@gmail.com - we will require you to send the products back to us in their original condition and packaging for a full refund. As we are a small business, we are unable to offer free returns - if your product arrives broken, please send the order back to us, and we will reimburse your postage costs (only for damaged items). We will require proof of postage. We accept refunds for: - Items that arrived damaged (apart from Brittle, Lucky Dip Orders from TikTok and any type of wax that is purposely broken up) We do not accept refunds for: - Wax Melts that have been opened and used - If you do not like the scent chosen, we understand that scent is subjective, however as a small business we are unable to refund for this. Our new Sample Pots are a perfect way to try out our scents without buying bigger products and may help you in the future with what your favourites are! - Brittle Products, as these are purposely broken up to create products - Lucky Dip Orders from TikTok, as these are already super affordable to purchase, we cannot offer refunds on these items being a Small Business
  • My order hasn't arrived, what do I do?
    We are required to wait 10 days from the day it was meant to be delivered before making a claim. If your parcel does not arrive within this time, contact our customer care team with your order number and we will do our best to send replacement items where possible.
  • How can I get into contact with you?
    We are available between 8am & 7pm Monday-Sunday! Here are a few ways... Message us on our Facebook Page Message us on our Instagram Page Submit an email form on our 'Contact Us' section! We aim to get back to you within 24 hours!
  • Are you CLP Compliant?
    Yes! We are 100% CLP compliant.
  • How do I get my old wax melt out of the burner to use a new one?
    To safely change over your wax melts, heat your old melt in the burner until it is fully melted and then pop in a couple of cotton balls to soak up the wax in there. Safely pull those wax soaked cotton balls, and dispose of them in the bin. Then use another cotton ball to safely remove the excess wax! Now you are ready to pop in your new wax melt! (WARNING: Oil Burners can get very very hot, it is important to be careful when handling the hot wax and the hot oil burner) (WARNING: Hot wax CANNOT be poured down the drain. Which is why the cotton ball method is perfect as they can be disposed of in your bin!)
  • Is the Wax Eco Friendly?
    Yes! We use Eco soy wax which is biodegradable and vegan friendly. Soy wax is from a renewable source (the soy plant) which can be grown over and over again making it a sustainable source for our lovely wax melts!
  • I am local to the Isle of Wight and want to collect, how do I do so?
    We offer a collection service at our checkout, just click the drop down arrow and you will see the option to collect from our Isle of Wight base. Please allow time to recieve an email about your collection, to arrange the best time for both of us!
